Threefold architects is an RIBA award winning chartered practice of qualified registered architects based in London, with a proven track record of delivering high quality, innovative and award winning spaces.

The name of the practice reflects an approach, which underpins all of our work, communication, context, and creativity.

communication: The design process is enriched by discourse, we strive to involve everyone who will be touched by a scheme in the development of the design. We believe that collective discussion and the sharing of ideas and aspirations will help to make better places.

context: The narrative of a project comes from developing an understanding of the context of a proposal. The context of design is not limited to geographical location or physical objects,  it can be the essence of a project, a story, a brand, a product  or a person.

creativity: We are committed to invention and innovation in everything we do, striving to ensure that there is something new, interesting and delightful about the spaces we make. Our work is varied by intent, in the materials chosen, and they way in which they are used; in the way space is shaped, and the way it is occupied. We believe in unique rigorously developed solutions.

These 3 key principles form the backbone to every design strategy, and help to inform the scheme that grows from them.

If there are common themes they are quality, a commitment to the honest expression of simple robust, materials and the manipulation of natural light to make delightful places and spaces for the people who occupy them.
