Banke Kuku Interiors and Textiles is a UK based company specialising in printed and woven textiles for the fashion and interior industry.

We at Banke Kuku Interiors and Textiles create bespoke pieces and patterns tailored to our clients’ meticulous taste. The company fuses aspects of African and Western culture to create beautiful and elegant fabrics. Banke Kuku Textiles can be identified by its intricate patterns, vibrant and sophisticated use of color as it upholds its African heritage.

The Nigerian born creative director, Banke Kuku graduated from Central St Martins and Chelsea Art College where she studied Textile Design. Banke was awarded the title ‘Queen of Colour’ by creative director of Jasmine di Milo. Her designs have been described as ‘Exquisite Piece of Art’ by Lidewij Edelkoort, one of the world’s most renowned trend forecasters.

The designer has had vast experience in the industry; working with DuroOlowu, Jasmine di Milo, Burberry, Jewel by Lisa, Tiffany Amber and more. Her print designs have graced the catwalks of London, Paris and New York and woven interior fabrics have participated in furniture shows from Milan to Africa.

After much success in Milan furniture fair the company has launched its luxury interior line.
