Pip Hackett

Pip Hackett, considered by many to be one of Britain's top milliners trained at the Royal College of Art in 1996. She has rapidly built an international reputation with a portfolio of work shown in art galleries and museums (V&A London, KunstMuseum, Berlin) and catwalk collaborations with top designers (Thierry Mugler, Hardy Amies, Jasper Conran, English Eccentrics & Elspeth Gibson).

Her work has been sold in department stores (Liberty, Harrods) and boutiques. For the past 10 years she has designed a hugely successful diffusion line for "Designers at Debenhams". She now works exclusively for private clientele based from Great Western Studios. The Royal Mail bestowed the very highest honour on Pip when they commissioned a couture hat which was modelled by Erin O'Connor, and photographed by Nick Knight, was featured on a first class stamp in the "magnificent millinery" issue of postage stamps launched on Ladies Day during Ascot 2001.
