Art & Design practice of E. Asmaa Alanbari designs events where visitors are immersed in art. She directs performances using video projections and music, as in her show Gilgamesh Contemporary II. A multimedia adaptation of the ancient story, it comments on the climate as well as on our individual relationship with time. An immersive experience that is both primal and contemporary, it surrounds the audience with video projections of nature, dance and animated ancient art from The British Museum & The Louvre.

Alanbari is equally a painter and a curator; both practices are anchored in her background as an architect. Past curatorial collaborations include The Saatchi Gallery (2014, 2015, 2017) and the 17th Annual Venice Biennale of Architecture, The Iraq Pavilion 2021.
