Foxall Studio have launched a 50 metre window installation on 4 buildings in New Bond Street during its vaction by the Crossrail project. Tom Dyckhoff presents a contest searching for untapped interior design talent with studio holder Daniel Hopwood acting as judge alongside Sophie Robinson.
The first heat sees oil-rig draughtsman Scott, college lecturer Fiona and young mother Francesca each take on a living room in a trio of neighbouring 17th-century Cotswolds cottages. The amateur enthusiasts are afforded three days, £1,000 and a small team of assistants to interpret and realise the homeowners’ wishes.
The series starts on BBC1 at 7pm on 28th October.
