BlueShift Creative Coding and Robotics Camps
Join our studio holders, BlueShift, for the creative coding and robotics camps this December!
BlueShift gives children the environment and support to learn digital literacy skills through coding and robotics; they do this by providing holiday and half-term camps, after-school clubs, and private tuition for those wanting 1-on-1 instruction. They have a number of knowledgeable teachers on our team that provide their students with engaging and fun ways to learn coding and other digital skills.
From December 19th to 23rd they have the Winter Wonderland of Coding camps taking place at Colville Primary School in Notting Hill. Their camps are for children aged 4-14, and they are separated into the following age groups and topics:
– Minis (ages 4-6) – Coding and Robotics
– Explorers (ages 6-8) – Creative Robotics
– Adventurers (ages 8-12) – Merry Minecraft
– Innovators (ages 10-14) – JavaScript and Web Development
Throughout the week, children will be taking part in a number of different activities and projects depending on their chosen camp. The youngest campers, Minis, will be starting their coding journey with jingle bell robots and creating interactive greeting cards for the holidays. The Creative Robotics students will get to enjoy all the robotic fun, and the Minecrafters will be creating their own snowy winter wonderland world.
Very excited to have a new JavaScript and Web Development course for the older students this year. This course is ideal for students interested in learning how to build their own websites and are ready for more complex projects. This will combine innovative digital art projects, text-based programming, and design to teach real-world skills and encourage creativity!
