Youmeus presents a story about the design and development of kMix, an iconic Food Mixer for Kenwood.

Kenwood has long been regarded as one of Britain’s most well-known food preparation brands. Working closely with Kenwood’s design, engineering and marketing teams, Youmeus provided the external impetus to help them define and shape new product category with the introduction of the kMix Food Mixer.

Youmeus explains the journey from initial thoughts through to design and production. The exhibition provides an insight into the workings of the design process, showcasing a collection of drawings, visuals, models and prototypes. The project encompasses industrial design, packaging design, brand and product positioning, naming together with sales and marketing tools aimed at helping Kenwood engage with the consumer in new and exciting ways.
