Brook Street Gallery is London based art gallery & consultancy representing a multi discipline and style collective.

Each artist we represent is unique and uses their specialisation to challenge the conventional narrative of their chosen media. The galleries curation of work includes diverse range of traditional and contemporary mediums including; ink painting, painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles and original prints.

Through our consultancy, we offer expertise and advice for  to both private and commercial clients. We work closely to source or commission rare pieces to add to a collection or a distinct piece to reflect the aspiration of their clients interiors.

Acclaimed as “Britain’s greatest living stone sculptor”, Emily Young was born in London into a family of writers, artists, politicians, naturalists and explorers.

As a young woman, she worked primarily as a painter, studying briefly at Chelsea School of Art, Central St Martins in London and Stonybrook University, New York.

She left London in the late 60s and spent the next years travelling widely, studying art and culture.

In the early 1980s she started carving stone, preferring to use discarded materials from abandoned quarries.
