Great Western Studios Pop-up Shop

The pop-up shop was filled with different brands that added vibrant colours to the shop and made it so special for the clients. Accessories, fashion, homeware, health, footwear brands were available at our building for our studio holders and clients during the days.

Vadher leathers is one of the brands part of the pop-up. Their story is as special as their products. With a history of almost 80 years, generation after generation, manufacturing the products, they finally opened their own brand. They make amazing products from leather and they always make sure to use even the smallest amount of leftover leather to create earrings, mini wallets, and different accessories.

Lucy Simmons Jewellery started making jewellery as gifts for friends & family, and now she did not just turn it into a hobby but a very successful business. With everything handmade, the jewelleries are out of this world. From silver, gold to the most colourful ones.

What we love rugs for all Moroccan rugs fans, offered some outstanding products for clients. Their usage of patterns, colours, and symbols are with the reason to bring together the present and past life to the comfort of our homes.

XClubs offer a unique approach to health and wellbeing. On our pop-up shop, XClub discuss more with clients and studio holders for anything of interest, their programs and memberships.

Adorn with love is the brand of heart and soul, that was part of our pop-up shop. Everything handmade by Preeti, the products are as special as the aim of this business. Everyone who popped by and chose one of these colourful pieces to add in the collection were over the moon by the quality and how special they were.

Bloomtine is the brand that added such a nice and warming energy to our pop-up shop. Enhancing the best feminine energy, their products are so special with a mission to honour the divine feminine and remind the earth angels of their celestial identity.

Good wardrobe got themselves one of our studios as a fitting room as well. Always ready to make the most for the clients, and have everything ready for them. Giving clothes a second chance to be loved again, GW is showing amazing pieces of clothing, jewelleries, and footwear extra for you. Getting ready for winter slowly.

We thank all of the brands for being part of our pop-up shop and for all the great feedback. We look forward to welcome them again to our next one in Spring.

Grand Union Canal Micro-festival: Building Dialogues

Pavement2Catwalk invites all Great Westerns to join the micro-festival ‘Building dialogues’ on canal side (by boat Molly Anna) from July 7th to July 9th.

Would you like better lighting on the canal? Outdoor events with a view? Make sure to join the discussion with representatives of the City of Westminster to develop a shared vision for the use of the space, followed by drinks and music.

On another note, P2C invites creatives of GWS to contribute remnants, cuttings — whatever they consider “waste” — to be transformed into art and fashion by elders of the Caribbean community.

Let’s turn GWS rubbish into art!

Dr Sam celebrates their 5 birthday

Dr Sam celebrated their 5th birthday in June. Their incredible journey consisted of flawless products and amazing community.

I believe that when you change your skin, you change your life.

I’ve developed the #TheDrSamSystem based on how I’ve successfully treated thousands of patients in my clinic – bringing Harley Street to you at home.

My mission is to educate and empower you to master your own skin with transformational formulations that exceed your expectations of what skincare can deliver. ‘

We congratulate all the amazing team of Dr Sam for their constant work and doing an amazing job to keep the customers happy. We are very proud having them here at GWS.

New album coming soon by Penguin Cafe

Penguin Cafe announced their newest album to be released on July 7th, called ‘Rain Before Seven…’. It can be pre-ordered now and it will be available on CD, vinyls, and digitally.

The title comes from an old weather proverb with the rhyming prognostication — fine before eleven — hinting at a happy ending, irrespective of the science: “I found it in a book and I’d never heard it before,” says Arthur Jeffes, leader of Penguin Cafe. “It has faintly optimistic overtones and I quite like it. It’s fallen out of usage recently but it does describe English weather patterns coming in off the Atlantic.”
